Excellent product. I placed my order online, received a 2% AR15.com discount and 6 days later it arrived. It was packaged very well insulating all parts with egg crate type foam. All parts look perfect AND FIRST QUALITY. I mounted it to a LRB stripped lower receiver with out any problems. It took less than an hour. Only comment I have is that there are no instructions included, however, there is more than enough help on the web so it wasn't a problem. Prior to purchase, I sent emails with various inquiries and they were promptly answered. Great company to do business with. I almost selected a kit from a company that was a few dollars less however there were so many negative reviews on the web that I went with DEL_TON and certainly glad I did! |

No kit manufacturer that I'm aware of, provides instructions. There's a great set of instructions here on the website, and most people ordering kits are familiar with assembling the LPK. Snapping the complete upper onto the lower is considered to be a no-brainier.
I've assembled several Del-Ton kits, and they are top-notch, in my book. The only thing I'd consider doing differently would be swapping out the BCG for a full-auto carrier, known to be of very high quality (not that I don't trust the del-ton BCG, but you know...). Maybe a set of KNS pins while you're at it. After that, I'd be willing to run my Del-Tons against any other rifle out there, with a very high degree of confidence in their reliability. |

I ordered a 20' Del-ton kit and it showed up in 4 days, but was missing the mag. catch. Made a call to them and 3 days later I had the missing part. Went to try it out and had a problem with the bolt not locking. After a with 4 ARs took alook at it,we found that they sent me a buffer and spring for a M4 stock and I had a A2. After another call and 3 more days I had the right one in hand. Now got to find the time to get back out and try it agan. |
