Im building an SBR and since I will no doubt have this rifle for a very long time, if not forever, I have been picky, or actually stuck on what parts I want to build it with and I need some help with some questions I have.
The most un-convoluted way I can ask this is: Can I run a suppressor with a switch block with a piston system. However its more convoluted and complicated than that because i have yet to buy the handguard for this and not sure on what length to buy because I have not answered the question of were im going with this build yet. I have a 10" noveske barrel with a low profile gas block. In digging through my parts box, i do have an old adjustable gas tube. I also have an Adams piston system. I have an AAC m42000 suppressor. I was thinking about purchasing a noveske switch block, but it also seams like there are other switch systems out now? After running a piston system for the last year I really love how clean my gun stays. Conventional direct gas in so filthy. But if a piston with a suppressor isn't a good idea, then id like to maybe run the hand-guard a little longer covering the low profile gas block and then just use the adjustable gas tube which may or may not be accessible under the hand guard. |
