Thanks Good morning. Best kept secrets of the AR shooting world: It's not the complete bolt carrier group for those preparing for the Great Zombie Wars of 2012 but I've put over a 1,000 rounds through their semi-auto carrier and just received their full-auto version (linked) and ran 100 rounds all trouble free. Very impressed, I find them a bit better quality than Rock River's bolts. IMHO, YMMV. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=182301918 Here's his Aero Precision A3 flat-top upper with dust-cover and forward assist installed: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=182304011 The Aero sans FA and DC: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=182310932 And if you need a lower parts kit he'll combine shipping: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=182301044 |
| Last build, I used Denny's Thunder Bolt as advertised here in the "New AR Products" section. Pretty sure it is still available for $119 with free shipping. I can say it is built with the very best parts and functioned 100% right out of the box. Unfortunately, I cannot say that about the last Rock River Arms or Stag/CMT bolts that I used. Both required removal of the gas key, loctite around the gas hole, new bolts, and staking. Sometimes, you get what you pay for. |
