| I have a 5.56 Ar and an thinking about possibly building a 6.8 upper to fit my Stag lower. I quess I have read too much now. I know I want a mid length gas system and a 1/11 0r 1/11.25 barrel. Now the choices come in. Lo profil gas block or not. Is a front sight clamped to the barrel, like a YHM, better or worse than a Troy attached to a MI gas block? Of VTACH, YHM, Troy TRS or Mega Monolithic, does one have an advantage over the others? I see several such as LMT , BCM, ITS, etc, all have high quality bolts. Is one better? I guess this seems anal, but I hate do wind up wishing I had done something else. Thanks for your opinions. |
