i just bought a stripped lower ar 15, I'm getting a lower parts kit, trigger and stock tomorrow.. i plan on running this upper http://www.whiteoakarmament.com/ does anyone know if this comes with the bolt? anything else i need. this is going to be mostly for yotes and informal target shooting out to 400 yards or so

Welcome to the site. The 'varmint' upper as listed on the White Oak site comes as a complete unit, so yes, it comes with a carrier group, which includes the bolt. The upper has a bull barrel, but no sights, so I assume you're mounting a scope. Which barrel length and twist are you going with? I see they list the option of 1/7, 1/8, 1/12. Either the 1/7, or 1/8 should work well for you, if you're using the more common grain weight of bullets.

The twenty should work out well for you. 1/7 is a good twist rate. As far as optics, with the exception of a US Optics SN3, that I bought, I haven't looked at scopes in a while. There is an optics and mounts forum in the equipment section, in the AR 15 category that should offer some good recommendations on scopes and mounts.
