Ok, I have a X brand lower, and an Y brand upper.  I've just put the rifle together, and when the charging handle is pulled it hangs up on the lower where the butt stock attaches.  It's worn through finish just me trying to figure out what's causing it.  Has anyone else had this issue?

To be honest I've got 2 of these X Brand lowers and I had to adjust the hand grip hole to get it to line up so I'm a bit skeptical about them.  Today is the first day I had to assemble the uppers and finish out the guns, and now this.  If it's something I've done I'd like to know what it could be.

EDIT:
Ok, I had a buddy come by with his gun, and we swapped uppers.  It's the upper.  His upper on my lower worked fine.  My upper on his lower hung up.

Crap, I guess I need to contact Y Brand about swapping it out.

Did you swap charging handles to make sure it's the upper and not the handle, that might be a quick fix.

tolerance stacking. it's what happens when you take a part that is +.003 and mate it with one that is -.003

some manufacturers have a really hard time hold close to the spec and their tolerances are all over the place.

the worst i've had are CMT uppers on any lowers and most uppers to Stag lowers.
