get a clamp on gas block or send it to a smith and have yours installed.

It is very difficult to match a pinned front sight to a barrel unless the two are drilled at the same time.  You can't just stick any A2 front sight on there and expect the holes to line up properly, and it's dang near impossible to drill holes in an un-drilled sight that will match holes already in a barrel.  That's why companies that sell stripped barrels don't sell them with the holes for pins already drilled.

The dimple is there to make it easier to install a low-profile gas block that uses a set screw.  There are a lot of options out there for that.  There are also options for clamp-on gas blocks that you might be interested in.

If you want a pinned A2 front sight then you should seriously consider sending the barrel off to a gunsmith (like ADCO) to get the work done professionally.

Nice barrel.  Like MJL said just use a set screw gas block or a clamp on.  The Vltor or the less expensive YHM low profile set screw gas blocks would work great since the barrel is already dimpled.  Either one could also be pinned by a company like ADCO.
