I tried search and couldn't find anything.  What weight buffer should I use in a middy? "H" or standard.

I've always used a standard carbine buffer in my middie.  Never a bobble.

CAR, H, H2, ST-T2 / DD-T2 should all work fine.

Really depends on your particular upper's gas port size, and the ammo you'll be using, among other factors.  Try a few to get the most reliable, softest shooting combo you can find.

I run an H with zero issues in my 14.5" middy since it's just what happens to be what came with my stock.
