| i have a high rise dpms upper, bull barrel, with 6X24X50 scope. but my scope has very little clearance above the charging handle. there is not enough room to grab the handle with the index and middle finger above the scope, and barely enough on the left side. i wont be changing the scope rings, because it fits my grip style and shooting posture. the latch is stock, but what brand is there that makes it stick out. maybe ambidextrous??thx... |

There are many out there I've seen. Depending on what exactly your needs are may be the key..
But from what you've stated so far, sounds like all your looking for is a basic Tactical latch for your existing handle.. anywhere from 15 to 30 bucks give or take.. Badger Ordnance seems to be a popular choice.. You can also check the many website's out there MidwayUSA.com , Brownell's (Link is above) and many other's.. just type Tactical latc in the search of their sites... |

You need higher rings, or your scope maybe mounted wrong 458 |

Take a look at the BCM GunFighter tactical CH, the mod 3 with large latch might be the one that you'll like.
The design of the GunFighter CH is stronger than standard CH because they eliminated the slot at the rear which makes the new design more robust and no more slot to stretch open when worn out.
