I have a question. I plan on getting the KNS pushbutton take down and pivot pin. Just to be clear, the .250 dia. are the standard mil spec pins and the .315 dia. are the ones for colt correct?

EDIT: also, what size KNS gen non-rotating trigger/hammer pins would i need for the standard mil spec ar?

0.250" is the standard for takedown and pivot pins; for a while Colt used a non-standard size, but those guns are not made anymore.

You want the 0.154" KNS pins.  The 0.1555" pins are for "worn" receivers, and the 0.170" pins are for non-standard Colt lowers (again, no longer made).

A less-expensive alternative to the KNS pins are the JP Industries pins.  $9.95 a pair.
