I plan on building an spr rifle and found that maybe im best going with a a2 style buffer setup rather than a carbine. I have what looks to be only a few choices, the vltor doesn't come in od green anymore so it puts me at odds with that system and its a littly spacey looking,  a standard a2, or an ace arfx stock, so far i like the ace the best and wonder if its good for a decent cheek weld and optics. Weight and price steered me away from the magpul ubr and prs. right now i have a magpul ctr and i don't feel i need or want an adjustable for an spr. So it seems its between the Ace ARFX and A2 stock, what do you recommend?

here is a pic anyways, still trying to decide.

Me I would go with a A2 or a modern material A1 stock.  Cost being key.

I have one of the Ace ARFXE .. it's the shorter entry stock and it's pretty nice, solid and light weight. I really have come to like the Magpul ACS stock though for an affordable stock option, it is only about 20-30 dollars more than the Ace stock. Plus you also get an adjustable stock with a small storage compartment. It's kind of a cross between a CTR and the SOPMOD stock. Best of both worlds IMHO.

My vote goes A2.

The A2 stock fits me and it has a reasonable storage compartment. I mount my optics at standard iron sight height so the A2 works well for me.
I have never handled an Ace, I have a PRS, very nice stock, very adjustable.
