Alright I this trigger guard on my lower tonight and I got the pivot pin in however the set screw that came with it won't go in all the way it
sticks out just a little bit from the lower.  Anyone else had this problem or am I just not very good at putting this thing on? (Which is probably
the case)  Also any solutions besides just dealing with it, it doesn't look that bad but I would rather it flush with the lower?

Thanks and help is awesome

You might be able buy a shorter set scew or try and clean up the threads on the tigger gaurd

I've seen the same thing. Several different people have recommended a button screw to remedy this... Rainier makes a modified one that's tapped.

And somebody on arfcom had a bunch of the screws they were selling for a couple bucks each. Can't remember who it was.

it is easier to put the screw in with a little oil and start it first and put it in most of the way before installing the roll pin

it seems to get bound up if you put it in after the roll pin

I couldn't get mine in either... I put the long end of the allen wrench in the screw, and put a soldering iron on it.. It heated it enough to cut the threads in the polymer..
