I've got a 14.5" heavy barrel Bushmaster upper with a pinned and welded AK74 flash hider.
I f-ing hate that brake/hider/thing. It HAS to go. Originally I was looking at the KX3 for the cool factor, then there was the Spike's Brake but I don't think that its long enough. Any suggestions? |

BCM Has an extended A2 Phantoms FH are long enough For brakes take a look at the M4 thread, lots of 14.5's with all kinds of muzzle devices. http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=487503 |

Here are a few brakes I found. 1st row Dreadnaught F2, Benny Hill Rolling Thunder, DPMS Miculek, JP Cooley Tactical 2nd row Middlebrooks Jet, Ops Inc, PRI, Talon 3rd row TTI Eliminator, VIAS, THOR, PWS 4th row McArthur PGRS-1, SJC Titan, Tromix Rifle Shark, Montana Tri-Delta Last row Arredondo http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z247/sunspot9/MuzzleBrakes.jpg Those are some great ideas... You have any experience with any of those? |

+s for Sunspot. What a great colection of Pics!
My vote is for the GoGun Talon Brake (last in 2nd row). I shot it and was simply amazed. I could not detect ANY front sight movement and recoil was very well controlled. Not much side concussion either. It does "supress" flash some but not totally |

any one know what this one is? http://i735.photobucket.com/albums/ww359/jboy723/IMG_3478.jpg Pic by jboy723 Knight's Armament Triple Tap Yeah, it is sweet, but not worth the $400+ to me. Personally, I like the PWS FSC556 and simalar DNTC style brakes for around $100. |

It's nice and very effective, but I have to grind it off in order to get the front sight off and to put on the FF tube. |
