I want to change to a phantom on my DSA upper and can't remove the birdcage any help would be great.

Is it a 16in barrel or a 14.5 plus flash hider to make it legal?

You are just trying to get it off???
I usually take the full rifle and put it between my legs and feet put a wrench on the FS and tap it with a hammer to help break it free. I do not beat on the wrench just a good strike to the wrench.

Thanks edge a little heat from a bic and a hit on the wrench did it
