Has anyone on here filed their front site post into a finer point? The square top just seems a little to ...vague....to me with a 100yd sight picture. I'm curious to see what would happen if I were to file the square top of the sight post to half it size (still square on top, but smaller squared section if that makes any sense).

Get a NM post. Available in several widths. Tapered on left, right and top sides for a cleaner picture.
Downside. Needs to be adjusted in 360' increments to maintain wide side to operator. A1 post is slimmer if memory serves. Filing a post would be difficult at the least. 458 |
