Will the Model 1 Sales fluted free float tube fit over a YHM low pro gas block?
http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=225611 I'm building up a mid length that doesn't need rails, I just want it free floated, so an inexpensive tube is ideal if it will fit over and cover the YHM gas block. I guess the same question related to the DPMS tubes, their fluted and vented tube is also on the list of options. |
| That's what I was thinking too, but the pic I saw of the end of one of these made me nervous, the holes for the gas tube if you aren't running it past the gas block are REALLY close to the outside edge. But I guess that's still enough space, since the gas tube is only about an 1/8th or less from the top of the gas block... It'll be close but should clear. I'd just hate to pick out the one model that is meant to not extend past the gas block and thus doesn't have clearance. |

I am not real familiar with the M1S aluminum rail but thought they were like the RRA and Bushy rails which are open at the end where GB is ... are you saying it has something like this at the end of the rail near the GB already installed on it?
