16" M4 Rifle Kit
Standard options No big deal ... I still have to get to a local gun show next month to get some ammo Still need to find some kind of scope system for around $300 Must be good stuff ... I know it's not combat quality but for plinking and varmit hunting it should do the job |
| y'know,i had written out a detailed response as to the list of parts vendors that m&a uses......but screw it. the only point i wanted to make was that i contacted del-ton and i heard the backorder wait time,so i opted to go w/another company that had same specifications i wanted in stock. |

I'm new to this AR thing but so far some like'm and some are not sure ...
They ain't make in china so hey give'm a bone I'm more of a shotgun guy myself ,,, been shooting Mossburgs for years . They get the job done but I picked up a Benelli M2 last week and it will do the same job |

The Del-ton kit is worth the wait. I built one 5 years ago. Since then I've put around 4000rnds through it with out one hiccup.
When ever you place an order online you might want to give them a call first to make sure its in stock. They've been swamped for the last year. |

I agree, tell us what exactly you ordered so we can steer-clear. I am going to order ASAP and I am also wanting another M4. I would like to order from DelTon but I don't want to wait forever. I do believe that DelTon gives you your best bang for your buck, but I am open to other recommendations. Here is what I have in my Del-ton shopping cart:

care to elaborate on this? Price and perceived quality. If vendor X sold Eotechs for $350, and vendor Y sold holosights for $380, who'd be sold out, and who'd ahve stock on hand. Good point, AKpartskits.com (Blackthorne/Vulcan) still has some available. Del-ton is the best of the cheapest without a question and M&A offers very little more except increase in price, so I would rather wait for Del-ton. Heck, I have been waiting on Model1Sales for months simply because no one seems to be carrying 204 kits the way I can get them from Model1Sales. I even contacted Del-ton and tried to get them to just provide me with what I wanted and I would pay more if needed but they couldn't.

But I'm thinking once you pull the trigger if your like me I'm going to go through a few clips fast. I plan on going bulk for target loads ( 500 for starters ) and a few boxes of upper end stuff for varmits |
