My first build was for my father.... a spikes lower and a m & a rifle kit...Troubled at first... i found once i got the parts it was 10X easier than i thought it would be to build an AR. I remember looking @ the rifle once complete and thinking huh a $1000 rifle i don't think so...That was til i shot it, then it all came together ..wow...what a great gun!!!! My 30-06 just got retired...
So now i'm about to assemble my second rifle(MY GUN): Got a great deal on a mega machine special run roll marked gator..lol..got 2..it was such a good deal...Went with the timberwolf stainless trigger and j p enterprises 3 1/2 lbs spring kit. I haven't ordered my upper yet but know i will be going with a bison armory 16" 1/11 twist 4 groove 6.8 SPC II and a vtac modular handguard, I.T.S. bolt, Young NM carrier. This should be called the crack rifle...It's addictive!!!! Thank You to everyone @ AR15.com and all the info that made this so easy to do....You've taken the quess work out of a new addiction..... |
