I saw a DPMS upper on Midway, I think, for under $400 bones. It's a pretty good price, so I was thinking about getting it until somebody told me not to bc it won't fit on Mil-Spec lowers. Is that true or is that something I should specify when I order? (I know Colt's have their own specs - take down pins)
Also, does anybody know who might sell a mid-length upper with flat top receiver and railed gas block in 16 in (not 14.5/.7)? Thanks! |

I'd prefer to get one with a good VALUE (price/quality) vs cheap. I just wanted to know who had DPMS uppers and how they fit.
Thanks for the replies. I know some people talk out of their @$$es, but it never hurts to get opinions from people that build these for hobbies or for their profession. |
| I'll tell you a little secret. The upper on my Colt M4 that I carried for 10 months in Iraq was made by the same contractor as the upper on my "M-forgery" here at the house. I used DPMS receivers as a base for my build. Sounds like your buddy is more full of shit than the country of Iraq haha |
