My current project is a semi-retro carbine...that is a 16" pencil barrel with an A1 type upper receiver though it does have the integral brass deflector mounted on a basic M4 type lower...Armalite with DD LPK and BCM G1 buttstock. Real basic but should be light and fun. Go with what you want, there's many, mant options! |

I wanna do a long range with a magpul prs stock and harris bipod and around a 20 inch barrel. Im not real familiar with anything outside of the 16" inch range, guess that means i have some reading to do! I wanna do a free float quad rail Anyone have a pic of something that looks like this? to give me some ideas.. Thanks... |

Thinking about getting a 20" rifle kit from del-ton with the m4 feed ramps, chrome lined barrel, and phantom flash hider. For now i can put that upper on my current m4 and try it out until spikes has another sale on there sweet lowers. Then i will be all set to go..

To me, people start new builds because they get bored. What once consumed all of their time and money is now done so they do it all over again. I say you can only shoot one at a time so spend the money on becoming proficient with the weapon. The more you shoot the gun, the more you will change it until you get it how you want it. Use the money on classes and to upgrade parts as needed/desired. Once you feel like you are mastering your weapon then waste all the money you want on any kind of gun that you want. This won't be the popular answer but it is my $.02.

Alright guys, I have pretty much finished my first build and I was wondering what I should do next. So I figure I would turn to the Hive for help My Build: http://i564.photobucket.com/albums/ss86/Stephen7942/IMG_6743.jpg Essential Arms Lower Stag arms complete upper Magpul CTR Magpul MIAD Magpul Handguards Primary Arms Red Dot and 3x mag Gear Sector 2-pt sling and qd swivel adapter New additions not pictured are: Magpul BAD lever Magpul MBUS I have a good amount of ammo and mags for this gun and for my pistol. So i was wondering what you guys think i should do next. Start a new build( I want to do a long range rifle, maybe with a 20" barrel), Update the optics on this one(I was thinking EOTech), or other. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help. PS-I should have picked up one of spikes lowers when they were on sale for half off, or about 89 bucks, but I didn't so I guess I'll wait until the next sale comes around. ETA: Adjusted some text |
