| I finally ordered my AR kit from Model 1 Sales. Received an email today telling me due to high volume of orders it could be 12-weeks until shipment. Is this normal , will it take this long ? |
LMAO, good luck with that! I've had the worst luck ever getting products from Del-Ton in a timely manner. I was once quoted 6-months on all AR-15 "Small Parts". All I wanted was a tactical bolt release...

20" barrels have been on back-order at del-ton since black Friday  I'm still waiting... my first build is taking over 3 years!
However if you order a 16" barrel from Del-Ton they send it back in time and you get it before you complete the order.... or at least that's the attitude around here. |
| I ordered a 20" ss barrel threaded. I looked at some of the other sites except for Delton, but I liked Model 1 web site made it easy to pick and choose what I wanted. I am prepared to wait, but I thought the shortage was over. Appears to be a lot of AR's on store shelves again. |
| Del-Ton no longer gets their chrome-lined barrels from Wilson so they are working on doing them in house. I called last week and all the standard barrels were ready to ship so she told me that it would ship to me in about a week whereas the CL had no ETA...hope this helps!! |

I would make another choice. Try PK Firearms on the top of this page. PK's has a good selection. I'd buy the Upper and LPK rom Pk's and buy a Mega, Stag, CMT, or LMT lower through your local FFL. You can do the same with Bravo Company Uppers and add their BCG and charging handle for a little more money and alot more quality. |
| Should have readTHIS BEFORE you ordered. I got a nice rifle from them and was completlly happy, along with thousands of other happy customers. Hundreds are unhappy though.... |
