I am working on finishing a stripped AR lower and the only part I am having trouble with is the bolt stop buffer. It seem that it is either too large or its hole is too small but it will not go into its hole. I even tried tapping it with a brass hammer, but only succeeded in getting it stuck and having to use a lot of force with needle node pliers to pull it back out. Anyone have any suggestions? I have a complete set of drill bits and was thinking of reaming out the hole. I have also considered polishing up the buffer with a dremel. Any help would be appreciated.
