Just put together this morning, the M&A 20 SS rifle kit, on my Anvil Arms stripped lower. The carrying handle is from my Bushmaster M4gery.
Ordered the kit from M&A Parts on Wednesday morning, it arrived at my door Friday evening, Saturday morning assembly. All parts were included in the package, everything went together as expected, fit and finish is excellent. This is going to be my KISS rifle, throw it in the truck while driving around the ranch and use it to pop coyotes and hogs. Thanks M&A, and I will recommend you to all of my shooting buddies. I will post a range report after I get out there today or tomorrow. ETA: Too cold for the range this weekend, I will get out there next week, and post a report http://i591.photobucket.com/albums/ss358/txm4a3shooter/ArfCom/100_0190.jpg |

Whats a kit like that cost?Looks good and sounds good from some of the bad vibs i been reading on here about M&A. It was $599 delivered to my door, $560 base price for the 20" SS kit, $15 upgrade for green furniture, $24 UPS shipping to TX. I was waiting for a kit on backorder from another supplier, but I had settled for the CM barrel because the other supplier didn't offer SS, and they quoted 2 weeks for delivery back in Nov. Since it has been 6 weeks, I called M&A, and they had the SS kit in stock, shipped the same day, and only cost $33 more than the other suppliers CM barreled kt. |

OK, I finally got it out to the range today, everything is functioning perfectly, no failures in any operation, using a pmag. I shot some Hornady 55 g V-max, some Fiochi 55 g V-Max, and some Winchester 45 g JHP.
Note that some of the hits in the upper right are prior to getting the final sight setting, and even though I have a fairly wide group, I am pretty happy with it, considering it is at 100 yds with open sights and 52 year old eyes. http://i591.photobucket.com/albums/ss358/txm4a3shooter/ArfCom/DSC02720.jpg And, just in case you're thinking "This guy can't shoot worth a shit", here is the result of emptying a magazine from the scoped carbine at 100 yds with the same old eyes and ammo http://i591.photobucket.com/albums/ss358/txm4a3shooter/ArfCom/DSC02723.jpg http://i591.photobucket.com/albums/ss358/txm4a3shooter/ArfCom/DSC02713-1.jpg |
