I went to this weekend's guns show and bought a nice two stage trigger and was going to place it into my Colt. Only when I tried to install it did I realize that the trigger was the small pin type. Is there a way to drill out the trigger and make it fit into my colt?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Don't drill it out.  The pin size on your 6920 is .170 I think.  You new trigger is probaly .154.  You are better off sending your stock trigger to Bill Springfield.  The 6920 pin size has been a big issue.  I believe their newer rifles come with the small pins now.

That is true but there has to be a way to convert the 0.154 to the 0.170.

Well if there's a way or a better option this is the place...someone will chime in.  I was almost in the same boat but came here first and that's where I found out about Mr. Bill and his work.

Sell the trigger (if you can't return it) and buy one made for the Colt pins.

Bad idea to try and drill it out. Return it or sell it and buy the proper trigger.
