They are very hard to pull all the way back due to that spring being much heavier than the AR15 spring.If you had the wrong parts in you simply couldn't pull it back far enough to lock it.Have you shot it yet? Will it lock back/hold open on last round fired? If so you're GTG....with some use it gets a little easier.
BTW make sure you have the correct screw installed in the end of the buffer tube holding the stock/pad on.If it's too long it will hit the end of the buffer and make it nearly impossible to lock back.Remove yours about 6-7 turnds and see if it's better.Actually reading your post again I'm thinking this may be your problem...... |
