What are your thoughts on Blackthorne's complete ar15 kits verses Model One's kits? blackthornes part generally are way out of spec. probably one of the reasons you don't see them advertised on this forum at all. i would stay away at all costs. model 1 have ok kits. i think you will wait a while for shipping though. m&a have decent kits and so does delton. but you will by no means have a "hard use" rifle. but they make good range guns. if you want fast shipping, m&a is the way to go. ordering from delton means a wait of many months. rguns has kits, though i know nothing about there quality or ship times. I would completely stay away from Blackthorn anything! Model 1 sales is iffy at times. Don't waste your money.
There are way better companies to deal with IMHO. J&T, Del-Ton and M&A come to mind as far as reasonable priced quality kits go. With weapons you get what you pay for. Is your life worth the $100 or less you might save buying a lower quality kit? |
