I am looking at getting a free floating railed handguard for my midlength ar15.  The question I have is should I go with the midlength handgaurd or chop the front sight down and get the rifle length and a flip up front sight?

I prefer to chop the fsb and run the rifle length guards.  Currently have a Troy TRX-E 13" long floater tube on my 16" middy, love it.

Here's a link with a bunch of pics, mine's in there as well.

Only you can decide how you should set up your rifle.
