While assembling a bushmaster LPK, I was unable to get the pin through the trigger assembly due to the disconnector not lining up with the holes in the trigger.   Upon further inspection, the "wide" end of the disconnector spring did not allow the disconnector to depress low enough into the trigger assy to line up the holes for the pin.  Basically the wide end of the pin is too wide to fit into the cutout in the trigger assy.
Is one end of the spring supposed to be bigger tha the other?   If so is it still supposed to fit flush into the trigger assy or should the large end be as it is to not go below flush in the trigger spring?

Big end of the spring goes into the trigger.  Twist it clockwise as you push in and it will go in.  This keeps the spring in the trigger when you pull it all apart, so it's not just floating there to get lost...

Wow, quick replies.  Awesom.  Appriciate the help.  Glad I didn't cut the offending big coil.

I would suggest putting this bit of information in the lower assembly guide that is tacked to the first page.  I knew I had seen a spec for this spring somewhere, but it took a bit to find it!
