so i finally get home after a year in Iraq.  Bought a bunch of new stuff for my Stag, mainly the MI FF two piece rail and their low pro gas block.

so heres what i did...
1. removed flash suppresor
2. removed FSB
3. removed hand guards
4. removed delta ring
5. installed new gas block
6. installed hand guard
7. installed YHM muzzle brake

Ok. so my problem is... the FF rail is slightly canted to the left, not alligned with the flattop on receiver. how do i correct this to make it perectly aligned?
also, the smart guy that i am, i removed the barrel nut for whatever reason. so i had to put it back on.  is this my problem? do i have to realign this first?

PLEASE HELP!  (Will post pics when im at a computer that wasnt made in 1997.)

I am not familiar with MI products as I do not use them but if the handguard attaches to the barrel nut and your handguard is not aligned, I would suspect that you did not index the barrel nut properly.

Take the hadguard off and torque the barrel nut a little more(or less, depending which direction it is canted) until it lines up. It shouldn't take much, as the gas tube fits pretty snug.

X2 with readjusting. Just b/c the gas tube goes in doesn't mean your rail will be straight. It's a PITA with the  FF, you will have to remove it several times to get just right
