Welcome to the forum.

FYI, all caps is considered YELLING on a forum. And is taken as being rude by most folks.

Anyway, your lower should be just fine, so long as it's forged. Lowers are pretty much lowers these days...

As far as the buffer tubes go, either one will fit your lower. The difference is actually the outside diameter, and only affects which stocks will fit.

Mil-Spec will only take a mill spec stock, and visa-versa.

Which tube you select will depend on what stock you want to put on it.

The receiver will accept either style. The difference is the outside diameter of the tube.

Certain stocks are only available for mil-spec tubes.

I suggest the mil spec tubes, simply because their are a greater number of stocks available that fit them. If your on a budget DSArms has a M4 buttstock kit for $49.

Glad to have you with us!

Both MIL-SPEC and commercial receiver extensions (the formal name for the part) will fit any quality receiver because the threads are the same.  The real difference is which adjustable stock will go on which tube, and that's (for most of us) just a matter of preference.

There are a lot of "brands" of lowers out there, but there are relatively few forges that produce blanks and relatively few machiners that finish the blanks for finished lowers; the same firm may make lowers with many different "manufacturers'" names.  Unless you get one from one of the very few "known bad" companies (Vulcan/Hesse/etc.), you'll be at least "OK" if not lots better.
