looking to put together a cheap AR build for now... looking to also use the .22.

you could have done better, but with post-obama prices I'd say you did ok. I build my light weight carbine for $660. | Since you will no doubt begin uprading soon, You wanna go with a quality starting point. I just did a starter rifle build for a buddy at work. 90 bucks for a stripped Spikes lower (quality). Rock River Arms M4 kit from gunbroker- 669 dollars. Add a rear sight or optic and your all set man. Total of 760 bucks. If you dont have an optic to throw on it, you can get an MBUS rear for about 50. It wont be long and you will start looking at upgraded grips ands stocks and 2 stage triggers.... Enjoy! |

I just built one with 3 mags for 780
I used that upper 455 area51 dpms lower 130 local shop dpms lpk 85@ the time I bought it cheaper now no name gun show stock 50 caryy handle from local shop 30 3 gi mags 30 gun show this week end time to start upgrading Jeremy |

wow did a little google search on the bargain bin that cmmg has and the reviews are fantastic!! people said they were getting pretty much brand new guns!
i think that is a steal at 624 shipped! so im PRETTY sure im gonna go with that . just gotta go talk to the ffl tomorrow to make sure everything is set thanks everyone for their advice! im sure like every other hobby i picked up i will be back reading and buying upgrades in no time! |
