Who makes and sells the sight tool used for installation of an A2 rear sight? Thanks, Dennis

I did not use a sight tool .

You can use the nose of a round of FMJ to push the detent in and pliers to rotate the sight post .

You can even use the nose of the bullet to rotate it 90 degrees .

God bless

Just about everyone sells one. I just added one to my order with Bushmaster today. $8.50 and you have to specify whether you have the A1 or A2 sight. Until now I've been using the bullet technique, too.

I'm assuming you mean front sight...

Wrong - rear sight.

Ah, so you're talking the fixed A2 carry handle. Never adjusted one, only the A4. WAG: you'd think the A2 front sight tool would work there too.

There's a tool set for the complete assembly/dis-assembly of the A2 rear sight whether on the fixed A2 receiver or A2 handle
for the M4. It makes it a lot easier to do so.
