It usually unscrews, but you may need to remove the gas bock first.

well i got it off with a pipe wrench. thanks to all that attempted to help do to my lack of info so they could not give me help

Hey, sorry I missed this. I built a tool for that. I took a 24" hunk of 2x4 and used a hole saw to take a chunk out of the corner. Then I wrapped a ratchet strap around the tube two or three times and over the end of the 2x with the notch on the strap over the tube. Cranked it down and twisted the stubborn tube off. It took lots of re-positioning, but I saved the tube. The 2x4 split up the grain upon re-assembly but it was tight enough by then.
