[ARCHIVED THREAD] - New build ??

Here is my wish list so far for this build. This will be my first AR build. Can you tell me if there is any thing i should change and why? Maybe Parts that are comparable to these but less $$.

Spikes complete lower
Vltor upper MUR
BCM BCG
BCM charger
Noveske 16" N4 chrome lined barrel
Larue 11" free float handguard

Good choice on the VLTOR MUR upper. They are awesome, but be sure you get one of the older ones that are MILLED. A while back, they started forging them due to the cost difference.

Everything looks good...........but

What front site/gas block + gas tube??.........With that 11" FF, you'll need a rifle length gas system if you use a standard front site............Mid or carbine, you'll have to use a lo-pro gas block and put the site on the FF rail.

Planned on using Troys battle sites. I thought Noveske 16" barrels come with a low profile gas block?
