Hello All,
I ordered a S&W MOE upper for a friend and we were marrying with a Mega lower we built. When we place them together, it takes mucho effort to get the rear pin in. (Like flip upside down, put all weight, and then tap pin in with hammer effort) This is my 4th lower build, and I have never had this issue. We tried removing BCG, Mag, re-setting buffer weight, but its still very tough to get in. Once it is in, The charging handle is abnormally difficult to pull. I tried cycling it about 20 times, and it got more difficult to pull. I separated the receivers and then looked for abrasion marks on them, but found nothing. This led me to believe that it was something in the spring, buffer area, but they look ok. It is an H buffer on a carbine. Is it possible the spring needs to be clipped a little even though all parts were mil spec? Thanks for any information. |
