I have had a parts kit for a couple weeks. Today I stopped at the local toy store to find they have Rock River lowers for $100 so long story short I came home with one. After dinner and while the wife was watching More to Love I sat here on the couch and put it together. Only took an hour, I had a time getting the safety in the lower and it took me a few minutes to get the vise grip and roll pin thing down. Plus I had to take the trigger back apart because I forgot the disconnector spring. Seams like everything works at this point. I need a stock to complete the lower but that and the rest will come with time.
Just wanted to say thanks to you guys for all the information you post on this site. It makes doing something like this easy to start and in fact the lower is a piece of cake when you have a print out on assembling the lower put together by members of ar15.com setting on the table next to you.
