| Ok I am generally a bull pup guy and while not an opponent of ar's but I have never been a proponent (hope that's actually a word) either. I had terrible expediences with the A2 in the USMC but flawless performance from my FAMAS in the Legion. Anyway I have decided to build an AR from the ground up! I have ordered a billet aluminum matched upper and lower from SI Defense and want to make it a piston rifle... I am looking at going with the Adams arms piston kit and would like to know whether any one here has any experience with those? and how they function etc. As for the rest of the parts I am not sure yet I have some ideas but nothing definite yet. Thanks in advance for any advice! |

Adams is right up the road from me. I don't have one installed yet but do plan to use theirs when I do. Everything I hear about the company and product are positive. Spike's Tactical is using their product to build their gas piston uppers and that wouldn't happen if there were any question of the quality.
