$140 for a Stag is not bad. Compares with the best online deals when shipping and FFL fee are considered.
I've had luck with DPMS LPK's. I've used hundreds of them and have never had an out of spec part. $50 is a good price right now (they are $54 at Brownells with the dealer discount). - AG |
You can get one here for $99.99 plus $14 for shipping. The rest depends on transfer fees. I got one from there and it shipped very quickly. My FFL charges $15 for transfers. So it was about $130 (not counting the BS $25 background check fee in Nevada), which is still way better than the $189 people around here are charging for DPMS lowers. 
And the Spike's ones are good to go, too. I got one also from the group buy, but they are about $10 cheaper now. I did notice that there was a seam on the Spike's lower where the web of your firing hand is (between the thumb and index finger), whereas the Stag was smooth. Both are really nice lowers, however. |
