I'm pretty much almost done with my first build, waiting on a YHM specter-length free float rail. I need some advice though, can anyone show me a way of mounting a Docter (or docter-style) red dot on this rifle without having to break my cheek weld? Throw whatever options you have at me, I'd very much appreciate it.

If you had a FF rail, you could run a 45 degree rail and mount the sight just forward of the receiver. You have to cant your rifle to the side, but it's so much better than using the chin weld approach.

I'm getting a YHM FF, any suggestions on any good 45 degree mounts?

The MURLM from TNVC. Look it up. It's just what you're looking for.
