Have been lurking on ARFCOM for a long time now.. finally decided I want to build my dream AR from the ground up.    (Or at least try)

I have a few things that I know I want:
14.5" barrel, DD FF Omega 7.0, rear flip-up BUIS (not sure on manufacturer), Hogue grip, VFG of some sort (not sure on manufacturer).

What I need help with is opinions on all the other parts...
I'm looking for this rifle to be as accurate as possible with the 14.5" barrel (maybe not as accurate as possible, but at least more accurate than a standard, out-of-the-box pre-built AR with a 14.5" barrel)

I also want to be able to use the CMMG .22LR drop-in conversion kit, for when I just feel like plinking around (5.56 ammo is too damn expensive to go out and shoot several hundred rounds when just messing around )

Front sites..  I'm not sure if the standard A2 front sites would be best, or maybe a flip-up front BUIS would be better...  I plan on using an Eotech, so any opinions on optics/BUIS setup would be appreciated.
Lower receiver, upper receiver, LPK, trigger... I'm all lost on what would be the best setup for those.  Spent tons of time reading, and have read good and bad things with just about every manufacturer.

I'd like to get some opinions from the hive first, before I end up ordering something I won't like or want.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

ETA:  This is what I'd like the end-product to resemble

Hasn't been born yet

That is what I would like it to look like though.

If you want it to be more accurate than a regular CQB carbine, you might want to replace some key components like the barrel and bolt. Noveske makes the afghan 14.5 that is pretty dang accurate, but it'll cost you almost double of a M4 barrel. It also will be bead blasted and not have the grenade launcher cuts. On a BUIS I like Troy's and Magpul's. I think tango down vfg is a great grip, especially if you plan to add a light. I ran an EoTech for awhile with A2 sights, and you really won't notice the FSB at all. I would however get a riser for the sight though, it sits a little low. As far as a lower, whatever roll mark you like, as most are the same. I've had good luck with the RRA LPK and the Giselle and Timney triggers are my favorites. It's all in what you want, and depends on what you are planning on using it for.

Be sure you understand the laws on short barreled rifles, you would wouldn't want to assume your way into a prison cell.
