Ok, Ive gone through all the tacked threads and searched to no avail. I have a standard rifle stock on my ar now and thinking changing things up a little or a second build. I want to put a positionable stock on my gun and remember reading in past about using heavy buffer. i have rifle length gas system and normally shoot 68-77 grn bullets. will i be fine with a regular carbine buffer or should i use heavy buffer? what are differences or pro/cons?

thanks for the help.

I shoot 7.62 x 39, 123 gr. with a standard buffer but just bought a Spike's ST-T2. They said should work very fine with anything I have.
