Moving the safety on my Del Ton complete lower is very very hard. I've used other ARs where the safety moves very easily so I know there is something wrong with mine. I have read some things about the pin being too long that will cause it. Any good info on what to do with the pin now?

I would suggest the first thing you do is to make sure that the pin and selector are well lubricated. Next take a look at the channel in the selector. If there are burrs or sharp edges this will affect smooth operation. Burrs can be removed with a variety of different tools, picks, small files and fine sandpaper can often remedy this situation. You should also check the pin to make sure it doesn't have burrs or is extremely pointed. At times taking the point down a bit can help. Assuming these check out fine, I would then recommend you loosen your grip a few turns on the retaining screw. If the selector now moves smoothly you might find that removing a coil or two from the spring resolves your problem. More often than not this isn't required and It goes without saying that a little goes a long way here. You can always clip another coil but once the coil is gone it's gone.

Before you go cutting springs, be sure you have the problem without the trigger installed.

It might be biding where the selector and trigger interface.

JP Rifles has some videos of the fire control group.  It is made for the JP trigger group, but may give some insight intoo how everything works.

Did you change the grip?  If you did, the depth of the hole for the spring can be different than the stock grip.  Whenever I change grips, I check the depth of the hole, to see if the standard spring length is still Ok.
