I got a Spikes Tactical lower that Ive had for a couple months, and I ve been looking for an upper. I really wanted a 20" a4 clone but could only find 16 inchers.  I decided to go wiht an MA Parts midlength, so I put a 4 pos stock on my lower. I decided to check out American Spirit Arms and amazingly they had 20 inch barrels. Now I am wondering if anyone has experience with this company, the quality and what not. My dream gun is a 20" a4 but the only thing holding me back is the quality. My question is should I go with MA parts or American Spirit Arms?

No experience with either supplier. They may be Fine, Just Insure thay actually have what you're ordering "In Stock".
And, will ship in a realistic time frame. Credit Card Orders can be terminated if they don't.
Now, Just Advice, Build it the way You Want It. Do it Right 1 Time...
Then you can begin on the next 20 AR's You'll Want.

Good Luck,

Thanks man, they are in stock and I think Im going to go with ASA because I really want the 20". If I order the barrel with sight tower and delta assembly, and the reciever has forward assist and ejection asembly what small parts do I need to  complete it?

You will need a carry handle (assuming you want irons), a charging handle, and whatever hand guard you want on it. Depending on what comes with the barrel, you may need a barrel nut, and or a muzzle device. You will probably want an A2 "birdcage" flash hider and crush washer if the barrel does not come with one.

You will also need a BCG, but that might not be considered a "small part".

Good luck! Post pics when you are done!

?????? I would think that with the Sight Tower being already installed, the Barrel Nut will be too. The Right length Gas Tube and a Gas tube Roll Pin. Assembly lube for the Receiver/Barrel Nut (Never Seize). Possibly a Front Sight Pin, Spring and Detent, some Barrels have these parts and some Don't. Hanbdguards, Charging Handle, A Bolt Assembly??????? Many, Many of the Correct Tools............ And, The Knowledge to do the build right. Search for that here on the site.
Good Luck,
SO-13

PS: Yes,  a Muzzle Device.......

OK thanks for the responses. Itlooks like I still need  a gas tube+roll pin, front sight pin+spring+detent, handguards, and a flash hider. That shouldnt be too hard to get. Ill try to post some pics of what I have tonight. The ASA upper fit so perfect to my Spikes lower it was like their made for each other, the color matches great also!

ETA- Ive been lurking on this sight for about a year, but didnt register until I got an AR
Thanks again, Id be lost without this sight
