I have been looking for a Bull barrel Varmint rifle kit. I have checked out various sites....M&A, J&T, M1S, etc....they either don't have what I want, or they have a 6-8 month lead time.
However I did find one site that offers what I am looking for... AR15Products.net I called them and they told me that they have a 2 month lead time. Here is the link http://www.ar15products.net/itmidx8.htm I have checked out various forums, and have done numerous searches, and have not really found out anything about this company. No negative reviews, but nothing positive either! Has anyone had any dealings with them, or know anything about them? Thanks in advance |

I see they have some kits that appear to be Dpms, atleast in my mind. I also see that they can't commit to a Delivery Timeframe (Small Print).
If in fact these are DPMS Kits. I'm seeing DPMS Items Freeing Up more and more. The Panic Buying is almost over. Soon the Market will be Saturated with parts. I'd hold off for just a little while. Dealers here have so many AR's in stock they are turning down any more. Just My Thoughts Good Luck |

Their web site states that....Our upper receivers are from LMT and LAR manufacturing, we also sell DPMS and Bushmaster uppers.
and that .....Our barrels are made by E.R.Shaw, Wilson, Delton and Mossberg, depending on which kit is ordered. I'm just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with them? |

Not to speak ill of them, but I'm almost 100% positive that LAR does NOT make or market their own barreled uppers, stripped uppers yes. Barreled no. Since they are advertising LAR and LMT, its basically a crap shoot as to what you are really getting. IMHO you will get quality (unless its factory seconds), but as to the EXACT brand, there is probably no way to tell... The quality should be good no matter what you choose. Also since they advertise DPMS and LAR as being different, it sounds kind of redundant... totally different and independent companies yes, but LAR makes receivers for dpms... so now I am contradicting myself because LAR gets their forgings from Cerro (keyhole). I bought two stripped uppers from LAR and they are definitely Cerro.
