Kinda specific question here, but does anyone have experience with the stock Rock River aluminum free float tube versus the Hogue they offer?  Checking directly from their site, it's about a $35 difference in the handguard option.  I understand the hogue is molded rubber, but in terms of perfomance, are there any recommendations?

I have an RRA middy FF tube. I wrapped it in paracord, as I do with all my FF tubes, and I like it very much. The only downside is that its a 1-piece tube... next time I would buy a 2-piece elsewhere, as they are much easier to install.
