I am on a tight budget so progress is slower than I'd like. I am using my lunch money (yes, I am married and have an allowance) and packing my lunch. I choose a pistol for a few reasons. First my state does not let you own a SBR and second you cannot have a loaded rifle in a vehicle in the state.  My other AR is a Remington R25.

Obtained:

RRA 7" M4 upper w/ free float and rail gas block

stripped lower territorial

Stark Equipment Grip

Need:

RRA buffer kit

LPK

I liked the look and the builtin trigger gaurd.  Its fit and finish is very good.

Besides the heat problem, the gas block is 1/4" lower than the upper. (I found this out the hard way). To get the sights lined-up you have to bring the front sight pin until it sticks out of the front sight and almost falls out. I returned the Magpuls and got the MI (Mid West Industries)rear sight and they make afront sight that is made for the lower gas block hieght. They are alum. and therefore no prob with heat. I put them on last night and went to the range. They work great. I got them from RifleGear.com. The price was good and most of all, they ship in a day via mail. I ordered them Saturday 9 am on Memorial Day week end and recieved them this past Thursday. None of the crap with other suppliers having stock but taking weeks to pack and ship. I have ordered from the a few times and with the same fast service
