| Once my 20" LW50 barrel arrives, I'll be completing my first build. I'm looking to get a 3 stage Harris bipod and have questions about which mount to get. I have a vented aluminum FF tube and a low profile gas block. I assume that I'm going to need to attach one of the various mounts out there to the FF tube but I have no clue which one to get. I'm wanting to add a sling to the setup also. Can someone please explain the different mounting options available, what is involved (drilling etc.), and possibly provide some links? I'm also interested in the opinions on the pivoting bipod vs stationary. Thanks |
