I have one of Denny’s Operator barrels that I will soon install on a new build.  I am not a mercenary, SWAT member, or active duty anymore.  But, I want a free floating quad rail that will work for my application (home defense, light mount, etc..).  I have all quality parts and will not sacrifice the integrity of the rifle for a couple hundred bucks.

If I need to suck it up and purchase a $200-$300 rail system to complete a quality build, I will.  But, I am not Rambo.  I want quality, accuracy, and dependability in my rifles, but I try not to overkill anything.  I am just an average white guy.

Any suggestions on rail systems and why or why not on certain brands?

Thanks,

I like my Yankee Hill Machine, wasn't one of the most expensive ones out there, nto bad quality.  Doesn't have a mechanism to ensure no rotation like some of the more expensive ones, but no problems so far.

Yep, go with YHM and spend the money you save on ammo.
