Is there any special technique to aligning a butt stock and buffer tube in the lower? Or do you just eyeball it?

For the fixed stock the base of the A2 has a notch that aligns to the receiver. essentially self aligning. For the Collapsible stock the receiver end plate has a notch that aligns to a channel in the bottom of the buffer tube. essentially self aligning. The primary thing to accomplish is not over tightening on the buffer tube spring detent. |
