i ordered a midlength (cuz its all they had), and i t showed up today. not too bad only 23 days, cant complain.
but they sent me a car kit? its a dpms barrel (probably whole upper is dpms and i guess thats ok). but i dont know if i should complain or not. its for my wife (she wont be back from iraq for another 4 months) and she really wanted an m4 NOT a car. on the one hand its here. on the other its not what she really wanted. |

The M4 is a short sight radius. A standard carbine has a short sight radius. What you got is actually closer to the desired end state. |

What you got is actually closer to the desired end state. thats kinda my point. i ordered what was not really what she wanted and got something diff that is still not what she really wanted. she preferes an m4 cuz thats what she caries every day, so, she likes it. im not going to tell my wife what she wants is not the best choice. i just oredred the mid lenght cuz it could be a loooonnnnngggg time to get an m4 and i figured a mid aint that bad, heck its bette than a car, but now she got a car???? i just wonder with the current state of supply, should i bother complaining? and if i do, maybe i should wait till they have m4's? on a side note, im very pleased with the quality of the kit. |

Have you contacted M&A about this? If you ordered one thing and they sent you something else, they should make it right. Give them the chance to do that. If you want an M4 upper and you paid for it, that's what you should get.
Gotta learn to actually read the whole thing before I comment on it... |

What's your definition of a CAR & M4? It sounds like you got what your wife wants so what's the complaint? |

What's your definition of a CAR & M4? It sounds like you got what your wife wants so what's the complaint? carbine = 16" skinney looking barrel (not gtg for m203) m4 = 14 1/2" barrel wich looks better (gtg for m203) i guess im kinda hoping they will only have m4's in stock when i call and they will swap it out for one of those, or maybe i'll just keep it since any kit is hard to get right now and just wait till i have some more funds and m4's are available (why not one more ar?) |

I personally think the Car upper is a lot closer to an M4 than a Middy is.
But, you ordered a middy and didn't get one. I think you should call them up on Monday and see why they didn't send you what you ordered. Oh, and I've been married for almost 21 years now. If momma said she wants an M4 I'd be shelling out the dough for a full auto M4. Cause if momma ain't happy, nobody is happy. Rule #1 in the VaFish house is: Keep Momma Happy! If I were in your place, I'd give her the Car, tell her it's the closest I could get given the current political climate and have an M4 upper on back order someplace to give her what she really wanted. |

They have LMT M4 uppers is stock at Bravo Co. No BCG, CH, or handguards.
It's as close to the real thing as your going to get and way better quality than what you would get from M&A. But you better hurry. At 11:00 MDT they had 96, it's 11:07 now and there down to 86. |
